Building a water-conscious society

Protecting Oman’s water resources requires more than technical solutions. It also depends on informed communities, responsible behaviour and a shared understanding of the value of water. Oman Water Society develops awareness and outreach initiatives that help people understand water-related challenges and encourage more responsible water use in everyday life.

Working with schools, communities, institutions and partner organisations, the Society supports campaigns, educational programmes and public activities that translate complex water issues into clear, practical and engaging messages.

• Educational sessions, competitions, workshops and learning activities that introduce young people to water conservation, sustainability and environmental responsibility.
